KRIS SCOUMPERDIS
Scoumperdis joined The Lipton Group in 1999, after twenty successful years as an executive
in various mid and large size, for profit and not for profit, publicly traded and
privately held, services sector businesses.
He was a senior vice president of human resources and support services for six years at Good Samaritan Healthcare, a large, multi-corporate, inner city healthcare company. In this position, he helped lead the organization to significant improvements in clinical service quality and patient satisfaction, physician and employee satisfaction, and improved profitability.
He also was senior vice president for human resources and support services for six years at a large, multi-corporate, multi-state healthcare company, the Hillhaven Corp. In this business setting, he helped lead the company to significant improvements in service quality and employee satisfaction, and the development of new lines of business. These strategic changes produced substantial improvements in profitability, and led to an improvement in common stock price from $1 per share to $25 per share.
He also was vice president of human resources for an international financial services company, for an international freight transportation company, and for a physician practice management company.
In these large healthcare organizations, he played a key leadership role in the successful transformation of these businesses, which resulted in the significant breakthroughs and substantial improvements in service quality, profitability, and employee contribution and satisfaction. In the other organizational settings, he provided leadership in improving key business processes, developing executive leadership, etc.
He has substantial experience in building new lines of business, mergers and acquisitions, improving continuing operations, transformation of businesses, improving customer loyalty, reducing costs, increasing innovation, flexibility and speed, competing for and retaining talent, engaging employees in company vision and strategies, leveraging accountability and coaching for business results. He has tried every conceivable human resource/business improvement initiative in some type of organizational setting, and knows what works, what doesnt work, and why!
From these executive experiences, Scoumperdis will tell you that he has observed that there are two fundamental conditions precedent to a successful business transformation:1/ key leadership must be committed, capable and focused on accomplishing the transformation, and 2/ there are no shortcuts to anything worth doing, and that includes business transformation!
Scoumperdis is currently partnering with various clients of The Lipton Group to produce organizational breakthroughs in business performance, manage change, improve key business processes, and significantly increase leadership capability and effectiveness.
He has a Bachelor of Science Degree, with major study areas of chemistry and biology, and a Juris Doctor of Laws, and has also completed various management studies and courses.
